Rules Page
As this is our first time running a Rocket League... league... our rules list is pretty simple until there glitches and exploits are presented (not sure how that could happen in a game like this, but crazier things have been known to happen.) But the few rules we do have will be enforced with brute force
1. Rocket League league
For those who are still unclear as to what this is, Rocket Leaguers is a 3 versus 3 league consisting of 16 teams. So rather than going online and playing random head to head games, here you are given the opportunity to play a "season" following a schedule that is written. The 16 teams will be split into two conferences, the Rough Rider Conference and the Junker Clunker Conference, and each team will play at least twenty games (found in the scheduling.)
3. Playing the Games
Surprise, surprise. Playing your games are the most important part of the league, it's what keeps the community together and strong, by being an active player and doing what you're supposed to do! Each match-up in your schedule will be played in 3 five-minute games. Meaning if you have 1 game against somebody, you must play them up to 3 times (best of three wins.) and the second most important part, is you need to 1. Stream your game and/or 2. Keep track of your stats. This will be the most important rule you should follow.
4. Streaming/Tracking Your Game
I'm one of those guys who overly-commit to leagues. I like to put in the time and effort to make everything organized and clean, but for me to do that, I need some help from you guys. When you play your games, you can either stream your game and archive it (a tutorial will be provided for this situation) so that I can review your channel later to gather your stats, or you guys can provide the scores and stats for me over pm or a designated spot on the site, so that I may update your team page. Doing this is important, because it will allow me to write detailed power rankings for you guys, as well as allow me to create a front-page competition for league MVP. The only stats I request you keep track of are points and assists for each player, and nothing else.
5. Playoffs
Playoffs are pretty intense, and the way we're structuring it, we hope to make it even more intense. All season long you will be competing with 7 other teams in your conference, fighting and clawing your way to the superball, to be better than everyone else in your conference, to win ultimate bragging rights. There will be a seeding system, so the best record in the league will be the #1 seed. Seeding is important, because when playoffs come around, it will determine who you play inside your conference.
There will be seeds 1-4, where the #1 seed plays the #4 seed in a best of five series, and the #2 and #3 play the same. The winners of both games will clash in the championship in another best of five series. And the winner of that game will face off against the other winner in the other conference in the superball.
In the event of a tie for fourth seed: The two teams will face one another in a sudden death, one game series to determine who makes it in.
6. Player etiquette
This isn't a league for people who can't take a loss. This is a very fun, very competitive game and losing is to be expected, just like winning is. We aren't going to censor what you say. If you'd like to be a dick when you win, by all means do it. If you want to complain about losing, well alright, that's on you also. But at no point should you ever be malicious or hurtful when it comes to the shit talking. It's one thing to say "You guys suck *insert laughing crying face emoji here*" but it's another to be like "You suck, kill urself ur so bad." Shit talking is always encouraged, because that makes it that more competitive, but don't attack someone's character.

2. Team-play
As this is a 3v3 tournament, it's absolutely critical that communication becomes your best personality trait. If you can't participate anymore due to time constraints (perfectly reasonable) then please inform an admin that you can't play anymore. Far too many times we've had people insist they'd play, then they don't even join our league. There's no reason you can't type a one-sentence message saying "Deuces." so we can fill the empty space with somebody who is waiting. Along with this, it's also your job to speak with your team to get hours of availability sorted out so your games can be scheduled. If you can't handle this task, we'll have to give you the boot3.
